Overview

AER Energy is delivering industrial-scale carbon-negative power and biofuel infrastructure across South and Southeast Asia. We are hiring a Project Manager – Infrastructure Delivery to lead the execution of engineering and construction for one of our flagship facilities in India. This is a high-impact, multidisciplinary role at the intersection of climate tech and infrastructure deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day project execution from EPC mobilization to commissioning
  • Coordinate with engineering partners, equipment suppliers, and civil contractors
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and risk registers across all workstreams
  • Ensure site compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Collaborate with internal teams on permitting, power offtake, and carbon credit setup
  • Track project progress against key milestones and provide weekly updates to executive leadership
  • Drive cross-functional communication between India-based and international stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering (or similar)
  • 5+ years of experience managing infrastructure or industrial EPC projects
  • Proven track record delivering energy, industrial, or waste-to-energy facilities
  • Fluent in English and Hindi (oral and written); strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with construction scheduling, contract negotiation, and procurement

Preferred

  • Familiarity with renewable energy projects, gasification, or bioenergy systems
  • Prior experience working with global engineering or energy firms
  • PMP certification or equivalent is a plus
