Position: Commercial Analyst – Carbon & Credits

Overview
We’re hiring a Commercial Analyst to lead pricing strategy, credit pipeline forecasting, and buyer engagement across our carbon-negative projects. This role bridges climate finance, policy, and commercial execution — with direct exposure to global carbon markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Build financial models for carbon credit sales across power and methanol projects
- Track and forecast credit generation by project and registry
- Conduct buyer and market research across voluntary and compliance schemes
- Support structuring of carbon offtake agreements and long-term purchase deals
- Monitor regulatory changes and trends in credit pricing
- Assist in investor reporting and commercial pitch decks
Qualifications
- Background in finance, economics, sustainability, or engineering
- 2+ years in project finance, carbon markets, or environmental commodities
- Strong modeling skills (Excel, and ideally Python or SQL)
- Familiarity with MRV frameworks, registries, or ESG-linked instruments
- Commercial acumen and a passion for climate-focused infrastructure
Nice to Have
- Experience negotiating offtake or purchase agreements
- Knowledge of Article 6, ICVCM, or voluntary credit frameworks
